Maria Gomez Saldarriaga

Modeling and Econometrics Specialist

Maria Gomez-Saldarriaga is an Economist with a background in both health care and fisheries data science. Her current focus is on ecosystem services valuation, resilience metrics, and fisheries economics. Maria is currently a doctoral student at East Carolina University in the Integrated Coastal Sciences program. Before starting her Ph.D., Maria worked as a Data Scientist at Capital Blue Cross of Pennsylvania, solving multidimensional problems at the regional level.  She holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Economics and Econometrics from East Carolina University, where she also completed her undergraduate studies in Economics and Health Care Management.
